BAM engineers inspire our students

BAM engineers inspire our students

We were delighted to host two engineers from the Royal BAM Group to talk to our budding engineers on Wednesday November 25th. This was a really eye-opening session for our students, who simply were not aware of the vast array of opportunities available in the engineering industry.

Feedback from the students included:

I found it vastly informative to have BAM come talk to our engineering class. It has lit an interest in potential career opportunities in the engineering world

The meeting taught me about opportunities that BAM provides for apprenticeships and university degrees, with all expenses such as transportation covered, showing BAM’s dedication for the new generation of potential engineers.

The apprenticeship caught my attention as it gives work experience and practice with official work that would be performed, further inviting the opportunity for a job in engineering, helping the world grow in infrastructure projects and other civil engineering designs.

It also showed me what skills and personalities would be important for engineering with real world examples of what work would be involved.

I am thankful for this incredibly useful opportunity, allowing me to learn about the universe of different potential engineering jobs, especially civil engineering.”
