Invisibiliteam raise £150 through talent show
On Wednesday 18th April 2018, Melissa Turner and Hollie Barden put on a talent show open to all years. This was part of their ongoing project “Invisibiliteam” which promotes positive action for those who suffer with “invisible” disabilities and/or mental health issues. They had a mix of group acts and soloists. There was an excellent turn-out on the night and the audience members enjoyed the show as well as the available refreshments. This was organised in aid of raising money to support work done in the School Base.The girls said “We felt this was an important part of the school to focus our efforts as the Base promotes students’ wellbeing and helps those who may be struggling or who need extra support. We raised a grand total of £152.73 and would like to thank the Sackville community who attended or donated in any way. We hope to further our project in West Sussex in the future”.
