Sackville Success at the English Speaking Union Debating Competition

On Tuesday evening, Imogen Gaines and Aminah Rahman were successful at the English Speaking Union Debating Competition, hosted at Burgess Hill School for Girls.
The judges commended them on their ‘poise, delivery style and humour’ as they opposed the motion from Brighton College that ‘This house would weight votes such that the younger the voter, the more powerful their vote.’ Congratulations and thanks also to some of the team that helped them prepare and who came along to support them: Kezia Augustine, Ceri Harman, Ellie Smith and Isabelle Goddard. A true example of ‘Together we Achieve!
