A legend returns to make it a special year 12 field trip

Congratulations to our amazing year 12 geography students who have just completed their fieldwork for their A level qualification.

After a day looking at sea defence on the south coast around Seaford, it was off to South Wales for a mix of human and physical geography. A stop at Port Talbot permitted urban data collection, and two days in Pembrokeshire saw spectacular sights visited, including Church Door Cove (pictured), St Govan’s Head and chapel, Huntsman’s Leap, The Devil’s Cauldron, and the Green Bridge of Wales.

Best of all was the return of Sackville legend Steve Latus to sprinkle his geography gold liberally over the weekend. Thanks to Steve for returning, and also to Mr Johnson, Ms Bishop, Mr Gerretsen and Ms Parchment for giving up their holiday to make such a successful educational experience for our students.
