Sackville sixth formers celebrate fantastic results at the end of two challenging years
On Tuesday August 10th, our year 13 students celebrated a superb set of A level and level 3 vocational results after two especially challenging school years. These students missed a term of year 12, and eight weeks of year 13 during COVID school closures. These challenges were no match for their resilience and determination however, and their results leave them perfectly placed for the next stage of their journeys.
Nearly one hundred students are progressing to higher education. Sackville students will be progressing to Cambridge University and to medicine and veterinary degrees. Sackville alumni will be well-represented at the selective Russell Group of universities too. Many other students are going into employment, and some into apprenticeships (including with us at Sackville).
We wish them the very best in the next stages of their lives – a special year group indeed.
