Congratulations to Rob Cross, World Darts Champion

Former student Rob Cross, who left Sackville in 2007, stunned the sporting world on Monday to become the PDC World Darts Champion, beating Phil Taylor, 16-times former champion, 7-2 in the final.
Though Rob is fondly remembered by those at Sackville who taught him, without darts as part of our curriculum it’s hard to claim any credit for his extraordinary success.
We’ll be following his career with interest over the coming years nonetheless.
