Sackville raises over £2000 for UNHCR

The week of March 14-18 saw Sackville students rise to the challenge of raising money for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, to support those fleeing the war in Ukraine.

There were several bake sales and a sweet store. Immi in year 8 as well as 11LMD made and sold lapel ribbons in Ukraine’s national colours.

7MTY even persuaded year leader Mr Endersby to be on the wrong end of numerous wet sponges. Over the weekend, staff took part in a virtual relay, with the entry fee also going to the fundraising efforts. So far we have raised well over £2000!
