U14 Hockey National – Nottingham

U14 Hockey National – Nottingham

Two of our U14 Hockey teams put on a sterling performance at the National U14 Hockey Tournament in Nottingham. The boys progressed through to the next round, narrowly missing out on penalty flicks in the final. Below is a summary of how the girls got on from one of the players.

The hockey tournament up in Nottingham this year was very well organised and lots of fun. Our first matches were in a pool system with us drawing our first game, losing our second, winning our third and losing our fourth. This meant that we came 3/5 in our pool and taking us to play against 2 more teams. The first team we played we won 1-0 and the second game went 2-2 then lost on P-flicks. That last game was very tight but fun to play in too. Overall the whole trip was super fun and we thank Mr Currie and Mrs Smyth for organising it!
