Y12 Geography Field Trip 2019

Year 12 geographers work into the holiday in Wales

[slideshow_deploy id=’33693′]

Our year 12 geography students left for their field trip on Thursday April 4th. The usual full-on geography experience awaited them, starting with a stop in Port Talbot for some look-see geography.
The team are based in Saundersfoot in Pembrokeshire, and have been able to look at the incomparable physical geography of that county, including the Green Bridge of Wales, the raised beach at Broadhaven South and the amazing cliff features around St Govan’s.
Human geography is used to analyse core-periphery problems, and the challenges of industrial decline and redevelopment.
An action-packed few days which will make a significant difference to the students’ understanding. Thanks to Mr Johnson, Mr Latus, Mr Gerretsen and Ms Bishop for giving up part of their holiday to make this happen.
