No rest for our year 10s in Berlin …

50 of our year 10 historians (and five history teachers) got up before dawn on the last day of February to catch an early flight for their trip to Berlin.
GCSE history really does come alive in this amazing city, where the very best and worst of humanity are only ever a short walk apart.
The trip is action packed, with visits to the Bundestag, the Brandenburg Gate, Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, Checkpoint Charlie, the SS headquarters, the Olympiastadion and the Holocaust Museum. Tired students on Monday morning! Many thanks to the history staff for organising the trip and accompanying the students.
