On any given day at Sackville School, you can find a small cluster of students making photographs in our darkroom; another group beavering away on sewing machines and another working at canvases on easels or putting their prints through the press.
The energy that our young people generate as they make drawings or design a product is an inspiration. They work hard and we are really proud to celebrate their achievements.
This year, after two years without a show, we bring you a selection of work from Sackville School’s current cohort. They have studied GCSE Art, A level Photography, A level Art and A level Textiles. Despite so much disruption over the past two years, our students have produced work of great personality and strength of character, often dealing with themes that have touched all of our lives.
We hope you enjoy sharing their ideas and witnessing their considerable abilities. To see the show, please step inside the D block gym from the 23rd June!
From the art team.
