We were lucky enough to have Charlotte Crutchington and Ann Stockdale from Thermo Fisher Scientific visit us yesterday. This is a local company that has branches worldwide with many opportunities for young people to join and develop. The company produces lifesaving medicines and scientific machinery which are shipped worldwide. Students learnt about the work that the East Grinstead branch does in producing testing equipment for many viruses, different antibiotics which are then shipped worldwide, and some of the problems they have to navigate to succeed. One of their biggest customers is Mexico.
We would like to thank Charlotte and Ann for coming in and giving us an insight into the work this local company does and the opportunities for students in the future.
