We were delighted to welcome back Hannah Karpel (pictured) and Sacha Pritchard (class of 2015/17) to launch a really exciting competition to our year 10 textile students. Sackville has been chosen along with seven other schools and the students are invited to design a look for a doll provided by Hannah to meet a short brief. Hannah is in the last year of her Fashion Journalism course at Central St Martin’s College in London.
They can use anything they find to create the look and will need to write a short paragraph about the inspiration behind their design too.
The winners will receive the opportunity to be mentored by influential industry figures. Textiles teacher Mrs Pope is as excited as the students!
