The ‘bounceback generation’ show us how special they are – sixth form exam results

Congratulations to our sixth form students on achieving a superb set of GCE A Level and Level 3 vocational results.

This is the cohort that lost the second half of year 11 and did not sit GCSEs. Then they were also remote learning for most of the spring term of year 12. You would not have thought it however based on their sixth form outcomes. There are going to be some very lucky employers and universities as this group of students leave Sackville. Never has a year group had to show so much resilience, and never has one emerged with so many useful general skills.

Several students achieved a full sweep of A* grades, and overall 30% of all grades were A and A*, 87% C or above. Many Sackvillians will start the new academic year at a Russell Group University; three students achieved their Oxbridge offer grades.

Well done to all and farewell – our future world is safe in your capable hands!
