We’re judging a book by its cover

Calling all photographers, artists, bookworms, tech whizzes and everyone in between!

This is your chance to enter an exciting competition in celebration of World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March.

To enter:

  1. Recreate the cover of your favourite book
  2. Take a photo of it
  3. Email your new cover to Miss Wernham (lwernham@mysackville.co.uk) with your full name, name of English class and name of English teacher 
  4. Miss Wernham will forward them to the English Department for judging

Rules:

  • Your cover must include the title and author of the book
  • If possible, please attach the original book cover photo as well (as seen below)
  • The more creative the better, so think outside the box!
  • Deadline for entry is Friday 4th March, winners will be announced the following week

Winners will be chosen from each year, with lots of exciting prizes to be bagged!

This competition is among many other thrilling events planned for World Book Day, but we hope lots of students enjoy getting involved in this one. We await your entries with fervent trepidation!
