Year 12s trip to St Johns College, Oxford

Year 12s trip to St Johns College, Oxford

On Wednesday 23rd March, a group of potential Oxbridge applicants from Year 12 were given the opportunity to visit St John’s College, Oxford, with an exclusive tour of the Hogwarts-esque grounds, talk, and taster interview session kindly run by Dr Ken Amor, Geography and Natural Sciences lecturer and part of the admissions panel.

They were also given a valuable Q&A session with current student, Alfie, who gave an insight into life at Oxford, applying, and the delicious meals prepared daily, which the group gratefully sampled!

The students left aesthetically satisfied, full-bellied and very well informed; all in all a successful trip!

Special thanks to Mr De Souza and Mrs Plumb for supervising the trip, and for their smoothness behind the wheel of the Sackville minibus.
