World Book Day – we’ve got it covered!

The entries for the World Book Day Competition where students recreated their own book covers were outstanding and certainly gave the English Department something to ponder over. Well done to all of the entries!

In the end we chose the 3 best entries for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize. The overall winners were:

1st place – Maud (12MBH), Anna (12ADT), Lyra (12ADT) for their fantastic recreation of ‘War and Peace’, which I believe involved borrowing a wedding dress to complete the look!

2nd place – Immi (8BDS) for her incredible hand painted cover for ‘Wings of Fire’.

3rd place – Ethan (8JHS) for his excellent recreation of ‘Born Free’.

There were a lot of other brilliant entries.

Mrs Crawford (Art)

Luke (9EWS)

Lewis (9KPE)

Olivia (8JCK)

Yasmine (7MTY)

Lucas (8THR)
